Very rare and beautiful Sideboard designed by Cees Braakman together with A.A. Patijn and produced by UMS Pastoe from the first series during the ‘50s in The Netherlands, Utrecht. This sideboard belongs to the Pastoe 'oak'-series and is in a good condition with some signs of age and use. The veneer is slightly damaged at the lower backside (pictures). The sideboard is made of oak but not as massive as most sideboards. The folding doors are unique. It features four drawers made from bent plywood as well as adjustable shelves on the left and right side. The drawers are fantastic and have the famous 'dust-free' bent plywood. A beautiful and rare eye catcher.
