FM62 Cubic Table designed by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe the Netherlands in the 1980s. The Cubic Table comes with a black lacquered square metal frame with a red wooden table top. The top has some very very tiny marks (see pics) due to normal wear and usage, which are almost not seen. Truly a beautiful graphic design.
The cube chair and table were introduced in 1980 during the Triennale in Poznan Poland. Initially in a disassembled edition, supplied with a canvas upholstery. From 1984 the FM 61 and FM 62 appeared in assembled edition, with a colored wooden seat and back and saddle leather.
Radboud van Beekum (Rijswijk The Netherlands, 1950) graduated in architectural design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1977. All in very good condition.
