Impressive ‘Gluon’ swivel chair designed by Marc Newson and produced by Moroso in the ‘90s. Circular steel base with center cut from which rises the barrel supporting the seat, silver tinted polyurethane, blue leather trim. The Gluon chair was conceived as an object to appeal to the masses that, being modular, could adapt to a wide variety of settings. The void in the center acts as an air cushion to make it comfortable to sit on, the hole wasn’t just about styling, but the function of the chair. Comes with the typical Marc Newson forms, futuristic and coming from another world. What a design!
