This elegant table lamp by Camille Breesch showcases a refined architectural composition, distinguished by a body crafted from solid very lightly pink–toned marble, delicately veined and naturally luminous. The soft blush hue lends warmth and depth to the stone, offering a subtle alternative to traditional white marble while remaining timeless and restrained.

A slender brass element runs vertically through the composition, introducing a measured contrast and enhancing the lamp’s sculptural presence. The structured fabric shade gently diffuses the light, creating an inviting glow that complements the nuanced coloration of the marble. Camille Breesch was an artist and artisan with a small company in the Limburg province in Belgium. All his lamps are made in natural stone, mostly combined with brass. Often travertine but also Carrara marble, both from Italy. The company was active in the 1970s and 1980s. This design reflects Breesch’s sensitivity to proportion and material, resulting in a piece that reads as both functional lighting and sculptural object. Ideal for sophisticated residential interiors, the lamp integrates seamlessly into modernist, mid-century, and contemporary settings.
A distinctive and collectible lighting piece, valued for its quiet elegance, fine materials, and subtle chromatic nuance.
